• Thereafter, you must acquire a four years bachelor's degree from an institute that is accredited by the American Dietetic Association's Commission.

• Normally, you major in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or Food Service Systems Management.

• You have to complete a 5 year bachelor's degree which comprises of class room coaching and a clinical internship.

• A master’s degree is essential, in case you want to conduct research, practice advanced clinical work, or operate in the public healthcare sector. The master’s degree takes 2 years for completion.

• Licensing varies from State to State, hence, you should understand your State's prerequisite, to know what kind of education and training is compulsory.

• To maintain the license, you have to complete 75 continual education credits every 5 years.
