Take a look at job postings that are in the field and industry that you are looking to apply to. This way, you can get the best idea of what skills, qualifications, and experience that potential employers are looking for. By knowing what they want, you can start building a resume that they want to read and follow up on.
2. Consider Attractive Qualities: Aside from just what qualifications and experience details are listed on job postings in your field and role, there are other candidate qualities that employers want for the positions they are hiring for. This is why you must ensure you brainstorm what these qualities may be, and also how you can provide them. Consider the perspective of an employer: at the most basic, they want a candidate who can make them money, are reliable, trustworthy, dedicated, good communicators, great team players, and employees who can take initiative.
