Dear Ms. Bijou-Kliff,

I write to apply to your Project Manager position, as advertised in this week’s Boise Daily Gazette. I ask that you consider me for this position, as my experience, education, and characteristics make me the perfect candidate.

I have approximately 12 years in environmental landscaping, as well as a dual degree cum Laude in Environmental Administration and Landscape Architecture. In my extensive years of experience in this field, I have worked in three major landscape facilities administering high end commercial and private environmental landscaping to my clients. I am well versed in all areas of topography, horticultural, and environmental irrigation and related concepts that make for the most environmentally aware and aesthetically pleasing landscape plans and implementation. To this end, I can offer a full portfolio of various sites in which I organized and lead large and small scale landscape projects as Project Manager, to include resorts, business parks, municipal recreational areas, golf courses, and private residencies.

In all of these environments to which I held the position of Project Manager, I was responsible for hiring and cultivating a team of talented and hard working landscape architects and environmental scientists to ensure both goals of energy awareness and landscape beautification were met with aplomb. Also, I was responsible for allocating tasks, developing landscape plans, coordinating with environmental staff, and developing the appropriate permits and allocation when needed for successful implementation of our clients’ goals and desires.

In conclusion, I have seen the work that you do in our community; and I would very much love to become part of your efforts as Project Manager. Please contact me at (999)999-9999, so that we might speak further. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Raymond Reynolds
