Duties of an Agricultural Manager: Like all other managers, an agricultural manager is the one who oversees the whole business. He/she provides trainings and serves as the backbone of all the staff working with them. He/she keeps the staff up-to-date on the newest trends to make their jobs easier but more efficient and effective. Agricultural managers also make and provide the materials needed for their trainings. They are also in charge of installing and applying the newest technologies like a GPS or a Global Positioning System in the field. They also use geospatial-mapping technology to be able to locate the field and its contents easily.
Education and Training Requirements for an Agricultural Manager: Agricultural managers are usually graduates of reputable universities and colleges who earned both a bachelor’s degree as well as a master’s degree in economics, agricultural business management, marketing and anything business oriented.
