ASIC Engineer Responsibilities and Duties

Maintain documentations for design and verification methodologies.
Collaborate with verification team to ensure that the designs meet all performance and functional requirements.
Develop professionally by gaining knowledge, experience and capability through the delivery of highly complex design projects.
Ensure that IC is designed, validated and delivered with high quality and on time.
Perform back-end design for ASIC digital block.
Carry out design auditing, static timing analysis, SCAN insertion, equivalence checking and ATPG.
Assist Layout Engineers with floor-planning and layout design constraints.
Collaborate with Architect to ensure that the designed products meet client requirements.
Work closely with Project Manager to ensure timely product delivery.
Assist application teams to resolve issues regarding timing and functional models.
