As a Laborer you will know all about working hard and making sure that a job is completed in total without any mistakes. You should start your application off with a well worded Laborer cover letter. You should use this letter to formally apply for the job, and you should also make sure that you give a couple of reasons why you should be considered for the post. The next section of your Laborer Resume should be a list of your skills. Mention first how many years of experience you have as a labourer, and then go on to list your main skills in the job. You should be mentioning things like your knowledge and ability to work with various different materials such as wood, brick and concrete. Explain that you have sufficient mathematic skills in order to be able to work out volumes, lengths, percentages and conversions which regularly crop up in building work.

You should, in reverse order, go through all of your previous jobs explaining what you did in each position you have held. You should be looking to indicate that you have been in a position where you have been supervising others, you should explain that you have been on occasions asked to single handedly look after a particular aspect of a build, such as dry stone walling or block laying for the external area of a new home, and you should indicate it if you have in the past been expected to help plan work for others.

The final section of your Laborer Resume should focus on your qualifications. Many laborers do not have specific qualifications for the position, and this is fine if it is the case for you. Just be sure to list your other qualifications, and try to find something relevant that you have done in the past. If you have any certificates to indicate that you are able to operate any plant machinery then you should of course list it here.
