How to Write a Resume Objective
Be specific while writing your objective statement in your resume. Mention the name of the specific job position, skills related to that position in your resume. Depending on the position you are applying for, the objective may need supporting information in order to make the target clear.Objectives should reflect the employer's perspective, not the jobseeker's, and should tell what the jobseeker can contribute. The resume objective should convey what you might be able to do for the employers company in terms of improving the organization.
Have several versions of your resume with several different objectives. You could even come up with a specific, tailor-made objective on your resume for each job you apply for. Even if you make no other changes to your resume, a minor change of focus in the objective statement may make all the difference in determining whether your application immediately captures the reader's attention or simply blends into the mass of other resumes in the pile.
Mention a clear and concise resume objective with action verbs, skill related keywords used. Avoid one or two word resume objective. Your resume objective should be not more than five lines and must target the employer’s requirement.
