Account executive, will act as the link between an advertising agency and its clients. An account executive must possess strong consultative skills, proven strategic selling abilities and be able to interact with higher authorities like Director’s of Marketing and Sales and also with other executives.
The typical tasks of an accounting executives include working with account planners to devise a campaign that meets the client's brief and budget, meeting clients to discuss their advertising needs and presenting campaign ideas and costs to clients. An account executive also coordinates activities of workers who perform media-production activities, in order to carry out approved campaigns.
