The typical responsibilities of a logistics manager includes, working with various functional areas in evaluating existing processes and identifying process improvement opportunities to drive business results and to assist in definition of business requirements, analysis of business case, and development of project plans. Logistics managers handle processes involved in a supply chain, liaising with a variety of parties including suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers, retailers and consumers. They also involve in transportation, stock control, warehousing, and ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of goods and materials.
