PACU NursePost Anesthesia care unit nurse deals with pre- and post-anesthesia nursing care and practice. The PACU nurse is responsible for postoperative care of the patient. The PACU Nurse implements the physician orders and provides quality nursing care for all patients. The PACU nurse monitors the patients’ condition continuously and provides patient safety, comfort and privacy. The PACU nurse must have the knowledge of surgical procedures & techniques and must be proficient with current nursing theory and practices.
