Here is the Innovative Botanist Cover Letter Example:

Dear Ms. Demery,

I saw the ad for a Botanist posted by USDA Forest Service and I began putting together my resume right away.

Nature has always fascinated me, which is one of the reasons I chose a career as a Botanist. The other reason is that plants can tell us a lot about the world we live in, making it a fascinating field. For these reasons, I began preparing for this career in high school by working in a plant nursery. I have since earned a degree in botany and I have four years of experience working as a botanist. I hope to put my expertise in this field to work for your company at this time.

I have some experience working with plant conservation and genetics but I specialize in plant physiology. I have exceptional research skills with the ability to apply the information I acquire to my work. I have excellent writing skills, so I can keep detailed records of all my findings.

I have experience working with microscopes, collecting specimens and conducting tests. I also have experience researching and conducting experiments on how environmental and manmade factors affect plant life.

I have the ability to identify plants and to help classify new plants and some experience speaking at conferences and seminars to help teach others about botany. I am excited to learn as much as I can about plant life and I believe working with your company will open up many new doors for my research.

You can reach me for an interview by calling (555)-555-5555.

Sincerely,
