I was excited to learn that your company is in search of a qualified maintenance electrician. I would like to express my interest in joining your company. I am currently seeking a new opportunity and I believe this position would be just the challenge I am looking for.

I hold a current and up to date electrician license. I have also completed a term as an apprentice to a master electrician, who lauded my strong grasp of mathematics skills and reasoning ability. I continue to attend classes when necessary to maintain my license and keep up with advancements in electrical maintenance.

After completing my apprenticeship, I have worked for the last 6 years in an industrial electrical position, where I enjoyed the regular challenges offered. Now I’d like to use that expertise to contribute to new goals and objectives such as those offered by your company.

I am highly skilled at my work. Some of the skills I have includes: the ability to install and repair electric systems, confidence and capability with tools of the trade, ability to follow manuals, schematics and blueprints, and competent diagnosis and repair of electrical components. I am very detail-oriented. In addition, I’m known for my ability to effectively perform tests to determine the root cause of malfunctions, so that repairs can be done correctly the first time.
