Proactive Adoption Case Manager Job Description

The job of an Adoption Case Manager involves overseeing the activities of social service workers, which include arranging adoption procedures and finding foster homes for abused or abandoned children.

Education/Experience Requirements

A successful candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in social service fields, such as psychology, sociology, social work, or other similar discipline, plus at least two years of hands-on experience as an adoption case worker. Adoption case managers require certification, licensure or registration, but this will depend on the location of work.
