Behavioral Assistant Responsibilities and Duties

Provide assistance to behavioral therapists in developing behavioral therapy programs.

Provide behavioral interventions to children and adolescents in home and community settings.

Create and develop an individualized service plan for each child and youngster.

Manage and handle patients with behavioral problems.

Develop and initiate safety standards for patients at all times.

Monitor record and document observations of patient behavior.

Modify daily activities of patients appropriate to behavioral interventions.

Instruct and counsel children and adolescents on positive behavioral aspects.

Maintain and manage clean and safe environment for patients.

Develop and initiate appropriate recreational activities for patients.
