The best candidates for this position have a positive, friendly attitude and are excellent at oral communication. There are no formal education requirements for this position, making it an ideal entry-level job.
There are a number of physical requirements that you will need to fulfill to meet the needs of this position. Most sales associates spend the majority of their shifts standing or walking. The ability to lift heavy objects and to help customers access hard to reach items will almost certainly be required.
