Dear Ms. Lillian Krebs,

I would like to put my name forward for the income auditor position that was recently vacated at your company Denihan Hospitality Group. Attached you will find my resume which will give you a more in depth view of my qualifications and job history.

I have a high school education and have worked in the hospitality industry for many years in the income auditing field. My math skills are top notch which is important when dealing with the income of a business in the hospitality sector. I am able to pay attention to details to ensure that all accounting is justified and that the numbers add up properly in all situations.

In my last position I was required to evaluate all revenue and prepare reports for the income journals daily as well as evaluate all balances for rebates within the property management systems. This included preparing and evaluating and monitoring housekeeping reports to resolve any discrepancies in the phone call reports and allowances. I also provided training for the night auditing staff and all new hires and administered all of the everyday activities.

I am highly organized and can maintain all billing files and provide support to all management teams. This includes developing and maintaining all income journals and cash receipts to make the required adjustments for month end and year end closings.
