I am applying for the position of Environmental Analyst with Can-Am Consultants, Inc. and I am very excited about the possibility of working for your company.

The attached resume has a complete outline of my qualifications but here is a quick look at my credentials. I chose this career because I have a genuine concern about the environment and I wanted to make a real difference. I have a bachelor’s degree in environmental science with courses that centered on geology, hydrology, statistics and biology. I also have extensive knowledge of chemistry, physics and mathematics.

I am familiar with the special tools and equipment used in the field to collect data and I have the knowledge and experience needed to perform certain tests while in the field. My experience also includes working in a lab testing soil and other samples collected to look for environmental changes and their causes. I have the skills to perform historical research in order to make comparisons.

By analyzing and interpreting the data associated with existing projects, I can help your company determine the impact they have on the environment. I can then use this information to help you look for ways to reduce the carbon footprint you leave behind. I also have the skills to gather information associated with future projects to make predictions on how they will affect the environment.
