Dear Ms. Williams,

An associate made me aware of the position of Commodity Trader now available with Ag Processing Inc. and I prepared my resume right away.

I meet all of the requirements for this position and I know that I am the right person for the job. I earned my master’s degree in finance while completing an internship with a well-established investment firm. While at the firm, I gained invaluable knowledge from a well-known Commodity Trader who has graciously offered his recommendation as proof of the skills and knowledge I have acquired over the last three years.

I have completed the National Commodity Futures examination and I am also currently registered with the National Futures Association. I have extensive knowledge of handling mutual funds, bonds, derivatives and stocks in addition to handling a variety of commodities that include clean energy sources and the future of agriculture.

I have outstanding verbal and writing skills with the ability to give clients the best financial advice based on each situation. I have the research skills needed to help determine which investments are good and safe to pursue and which ones are high risks. I can also explain why I make the recommendations I do in such a way that the client can easily understand.

I stay updated on any and all changes that take place in this field, so I can provide my clients with the best advice and service possible. I hope to meet with you soon to discuss this position in more detail.
