I plan to stay current with all new technological developments in computerized graphic design and 3D animation through continuing education programs.

During my internship at ABC I worked on the overhaul of the BBB Wedding Cakes, Ltd website making it interactive and using Maya software to convert the cakes on the site to 3D animation images. I also had the privilege of working on the AAA Amusement Park website upgrade using 3ds Max to take viewers on a real thrill ride. I have enjoyed every minute of my internship at ABC and hope to find a permanent place there as a graphic designer.

Although I have learned a great deal at the firm and I love my work as well as the beauty of the North Georgia Mountains, it has always been my dream to work at XYZ Graphics in Atlanta amid the bustling excitement of the big city.

While in my position as a graphic designer at Dalton I was able to educate the owners about some of the more recent developments in design software. They were receptive to new ideas and purchased the Adobe Illustrator and InDesign programs to go with the PhotoShop and other Adobe products already loaded on their system. With the newer technology they were able to expand their service offerings for their clients and generate additional revenues for the company.

Although my employers in Dalton have not advanced to the point of offering 3D graphic designs yet, I have been taking night classes through an extension of ABC Tech located in Dalton. I have currently mastered and received a certificate in 3ds Max computer graphics and am now half way through classes in Lightwave. I plan to go on to learn the latest in the Maya Suite once I complete Lightwave. It is my goal to stay abreast of all of the latest graphic design technology at it is developed.
