I am applying for the position of Hotel Reservations Agent now available with Langham Hotels International.

I enjoy meeting and talking with different people so this job suits my personality perfectly. I have extensive knowledge of computers and I have the ability to learn different systems and programs quickly. I also worked as a cashier for two years where I gained experience dealing with the public and handling all forms of payments.

As a reservations agent, I will greet the guests in a friendly and respectful manner while registering them and finding an available room that meets their needs. I can also take this opportunity to talk about the different amenities your hotel offers in a casual fashion and to make suggestions for services they may enjoy.

I have the communication skills needed to act as liaison between the guests and other hotel staff and to follow up to make sure the guests are receiving the services they requested. I can also report any complaints or maintenance issues to management immediately, so the problems can be resolved in a timely fashion.
