Efficient Warehouse Technician Cover Letter Example

I would like to be considered for the warehouse technician position that was recently listed by your company Calgon Carbon Corporation.

My education includes a high school diploma and on the job training at my last employer where I worked for four years learning all the aspects of a warehouse technician. This training enabled me to learn how to maintain, configure product for orders, check-in with all departments, clean and generally maintain the company’s equipment resources in the warehouse. I also performed general maintenance and repair of rental equipment such as the lighting, grip, and power distribution system while bringing equipment up to factory specification before returning to stock.

It was also my duty to scan the equipment barcodes and to enter equipment quantity count when performing check-out or check-in tasks. I also performed deliveries when needed and have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license. There would be no problem with me completing all company paperwork when required. My physical health is excellent and this allows me to aid in the loading and unloading of equipment from delivery vehicles.

Some of the warehouse equipment that I am qualified to operate includes but is not limited to pallet jacks, forklifts and order pickers. If needed, I would not be averse to participating in cross training when assigned and can provide assistance and guidance for related work when necessary. It is also possible for me to provide training to new employees as well as interns when this task is assigned to me.
