I am applying for a maid position with your hotel Hard Rock Hotel and have attached my resume to this document for your consideration.
I am a high school graduate and have worked in housekeeping for more than ten years. With my skills and length of experience it is my opinion that I would be an asset to your hotel. In my last employ I was tasked with working in the laundry room to ensure that all bedding and towels were clean, folded and ready to be used. This included setting up the carts for the maids to be used when cleaning rooms and changing linens and towels for the guests. It was also my task to handle the laundry of guests who required this service and to return their garments to their rooms after the clothing was laundered.
It was also my task to clean rooms, including spring cleaning, cleaning bathrooms, replacing dirty towels and changing linens according to rules of the hotel. I also stocked the mini bars and coffee stations on a daily basis marking down any mini bar usage to be charged to the hotel guest. It was also my task to ensure that the guests had enough shampoo, soap, conditioner and bathroom paper. When needed, I handled special tasks from guests and also offered turn down service at the end of the day.
