I have a bachelor’s degree in business management from Austin Peay State University, excellent leadership skills and three years of experience working in a distribution center. During this time, I worked in the packing and shipping department, so I am familiar with the process and procedures used to ship and receive merchandise.

My experience also includes handling the administrative duties such as monitoring shipments, taking orders, keeping accurate records and making sure all shipments comply with health and safety codes. It also includes minimizing the impact on the environment as much as possible. I am also familiar with the different machinery, equipment and computer systems used in distribution centers and I have excellent organization skills, which are needed to keep track of all shipments.

My easygoing personality and patience combined with my persistence and the ability to make good sound judgment calls help to qualify me for a management position. My strong communication and negotiating skills along with the ability to follow through to ensure operations are running smoothly, also helps me stand out in this industry.
