I am the Motor Mechanic your company is looking for and I know that I can be a great addition to the team at VSE Corporation.

While many of the skills associated with being a mechanic are the same, there is a lot more to this job today than it was a few years ago. You need a mechanic with the skills to work on the newer, more sophisticated vehicles designed today and that is what I have to offer your company.

I have the skills to run diagnosis tests to determine which part of the engine is causing the problem. This will save the customer money and your shop time that otherwise would be wasted troubleshooting to try to find the problem.

I have extensive knowledge of the very complicated electrical systems used in modern vehicles. While the electrical system is my specialty, I am also very familiar with repairing transmissions and performing tune-ups by changing spark plugs, belts, hoses, filters and fluids. I also have some knowledge of air conditioning systems and I am willing and capable of learning what I do not know.

I also have the physical strength to perform the manual labor parts of this job such as changing or rotating large truck tires and working underneath vehicles on mufflers and transmissions.
