Here is the Experienced Gerontology Cover Letter Example:

Dear Ms. Sharon Miller,

In regards to the opening at your school Higher Ed Career School in the gerontology department, I have attached my resume for your consideration and perusal.

I currently hold a bachelor’s degree in gerontology and have worked in the industry for more than five years with the same company. In my past position, I served as a part time faculty member while teaching individual and specified courses. This allowed me to gear instruction to the course objectives by ensuring that course activities, assignments, and assessments related to subject matter were achieved using only the University’s current course materials and guidelines.

This included providing timely feedback and grades through Gradebook, the University’s proprietary grading and feedback system. I am highly computer literate and am familiar many different scholastic software packages as well as all Microsoft Office applications. In the event your school utilizes a different grading system, it would not take me any time at all to learn it.

My interpersonal skills are also good which enables me to proactively respond to and attempts to resolve student academic issues within his/her class in conjunction with University policies, procedures and staff. I am also able to maintain a positive relationship with students and staff by ensuring customer satisfaction with issue resolution. I would also make myself available to all students and other staff members when needed. This includes developing and maintaining a good working relationship with division staff, other faculty, and students.

Please feel free to contact me at any time by calling (555)-555-5555.

Respectfully,
