I currently work at Holman Middle School where I teach students how to play a variety of instruments but I would like to move into a position where I can advance my career and help more students learn about and understand music. I believe I can do that at your school.

I have extensive knowledge of the history of music and I play a variety of instruments well. I can teach students the tones, rhythm and musical scales associated with music through example in addition to the curriculum. I have the experience needed to evaluate the students to help determine which instruments is the most suitable based on their interest and personalities.

I also have experience putting together musical performances, conducting rehearsals and coaching the students to help them perfect their part in the performance. I know how to offer constructive criticism in such a way that it will encourage students to work harder, not discourage them or make them feel bad.
