Here is the Detox Nurse Cover Letter example:

Dear Ms. Brenda Grajeda,

I was informed that there is an opening for a detox nurse at your facility Supplemental Health Care and I would like to be considered.

I currently hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing and am also a registered nurse (RN) and have worked in the detox field for many years now. My qualifications include being CPR and First Aid certified in this state. I am able to communicate well with patients and co workers and always have a good rapport with both. I understand that part of my duties would be coordination with other departments as well as with the patient’s family.

I am available to work any shift that is required of me and can be on call when needed. I am in great physical condition and am healthy so I rarely call in sick. I know and understand how to make relevant entries into a patient’s medical chart and can monitor their vital signs to if they are withdrawing. I can also administer medications and write reports. I have also admitted patient’s at my previous employ and know the procedures that must be gone through.

I am computer literate and can communicate through email, a fax machine or the telephone when required. I have worked with groups and would not have a problem conducting group activities. I would not have a problem working with any patient in a one on one situation if needed.

Please feel free to contact me at any time by calling (555)-555-5555. I look forward to hearing from you.
