Here is the Plumbing Apprentice Cover Letter example:

Dear Mr. Preston,

A friend of mine told me about the Plumbing Apprentice opening at your company and I would like to put my name forward for this position. I know that there is testing that I need to go through in order to become an apprentice and I am ready and willing to do this. My resume and letters of recommendation have been included in this packet for your perusal.

I have completed high school and finished with a 3.7 GPA. I have not attended any college courses as I know that I want to be a plumber and the only way to do this is through an apprenticeship. My work history is only working in fast food restaurants but you will see through my letters of recommendation that I am a hard worker and that I learn fast. I know this is something that is important for starting a new career.

It takes a great deal of time to go from apprentice to master and I am willing to put in that time with your company. I am hoping that once I do become a master that I can stay on with your company and train fresh apprentices myself in order to give back what you may be offering me.

I would like to have an opportunity to speak with you about your program and how I would fit into it. Please call me at (555)-555-5555. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Your Signature

Matthew Henderson
