Dear Ms. Juanita Baade,

I would like to be considered for the opening at your company Yeoman Tire & Auto for a Car Salesman.

I have plenty of experience working in this industry and have a high school diploma although I do not hold any degrees at this time. I understand that my work will be based on commission only and do not have any issue with that fact. I know a great deal about both new and used cars and it would not take me long to learn about the vehicles in the line on your lot. I have sold both new and used cars in the past and have a great deal of knowledge about all the standard packages that come with both.

While I am aggressive, I am never overbearing which can drive potential customers away. I know that it takes a strong personality to sell cars and I would offer that to any company that takes me on. I have never had a problem meeting a quota in my past employment and would not have an issue if I were to be hired by you. I am highly competitive and thrive in intense situations and do not have a problem with rejection. I do not take it personally; I fully understand that this is simply part of the job. I have a great personality and it shows when I am with a customer showing them all the features of the car they are buying.
