Here is the Referee Cover Letter example:

Dear Ms. Dale Petrick,

Having been made aware, through your advertising, of the referee position now available at ZogSportsSF and I am submitting this letter and attached resume to express my interest in filling this position.

I have had previous experience officiating relevant sporting events and enjoy maintaining a safe environment for players and spectators. It is a fun and interesting career, one in which I hope to continue to excel. My experience includes administering program schedules, as well as monitoring and enforcing rules, regulations and time schedules.

I thrive while working in a fast-paced environment and have the endurance to handle all of the physical aspects of the job. For example, my vision and hearing are excellent and I am able to run and squat with ease.

One of my favorite aspects of the position, that I excel at, is the instruction of sporting rules, as well as monitoring the adherence to and fairly enforcing sport and spectator rules. I understand and value the importance of exhibiting model behavior and always strive to maintain a courteous and respectful working relationship with all participants, volunteers and staff.

I have all the qualifications, skills and experience needed to be a perfect match for this position and after perusing my resume, I hope you will also agree I have what it takes. I’m looking forward to meeting with you in person and am available to interview whenever you are.

You can reach me anytime at (555)-555-5555 and I hope to hear from you soon.

Respectfully,

Signature
