Here is the Vet Tech Cover Letter example:

Dear Ms. Ruiz,

I am writing to submit my application for the Vet Tech job opening up in your animal hospital. I am looking to move from Schenectady to Easton, and would love the opportunity to work at a larger practice such as yours. Please find enclosed my resume and references. I am confident you will like what you see.

As a licensed RVT, I have been working for the past five years in a small-town veterinary clinic that services pet owners in town as well as an agricultural community spread over much of the county. While most of my work is performed in the clinic, I also accompany the veterinarians when they go out on house calls.

I immensely enjoy the challenge of handling farm animals. While I realize you probably don’t see too many chickens, horses and cows in your practice, I was very interested to learn that you specialize in exotic pets and birds. I am truly eager to gain experience working with snakes, in particular. But reptiles in general are of great interest to me, as we don’t have too many folks out this way who raise them.

Whatever the task you need me to do, I am equipped to get the job done. We have a very small staff here, so I’ve had to handle just about every kind of job – from working the front desk and covering reception, to helping with inventory control, to preparing prescriptions and giving client demonstrations, to assisting with surgery and dental procedures.

I would love the opportunity to talk more about the job. Please call me at (555)-555-5555.

Respectfully,

Jeffrey Daigle
