My education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and I am also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and have more than ten years experience in the field. I am proficient in the ten key punch and also have a full understanding of both the Federal and State regulations when it comes to financial reporting along with working extended hours. I am also well versed in Microsoft Office and other accounting software.
I bring to the table strong communication and customer service skills along with the ability to make a decision and stick to it. In my last position I was required to supervise all aspects of the bank I was manager of including the hiring and firing of employees. I also reported all daily justifications and book balances to the home office every evening and was responsible for approving or denying loan applications.
I started my career as a teller and worked my way up through the ranks before becoming bank manager. During my tenure as a bank manager I never had a shortage or overage that exceeded ten dollars and the books always were spot on each and every day. I followed all of the cash handling procedures and trained all employees on these procedures. I also have experience in both commercial and public sector banking would be able to handle both duties if offered this position.
