Dear Ms. Ruth Madison,
I am seeking a full or part-time position with a Convenience Store chain where I can put my great communication skills to good use.
I graduated from Gwinnett Technical College and have plans to attend college to earn a MBA degree in the near future. I have excellent computer and math skills along with the ability to make accurate change and to handle different types of payments from cash to checks efficiently, all while providing outstanding customer service.
My outgoing personality and ability to help create an environment where customers feel welcome by greeting them with a friendly smile as they enter the store, helping them find the items they need and learning the names of the regulars all go a long ways in providing good service.
I know how to implement suggestive selling without being pushy or annoying the customers. Cleaning the store, stocking the shelves, pricing items and helping to keep an eye on inventory are other duties I have the ability to perform to help keep the facility clean and presentable at all times.
I can work nights and weekends as well as days and have the ability to check-in vendors, lift up to 50 pounds and can stay alert and monitor the store to help reduce theft. I also have lots of patience to deal with all types of customer complaints and problems in a professional manner.
You can contact me for an interview by calling (555)-555-5555 if you have an opening for a reliable, hard working individual with my skills.
