Day Care Assistant Cover Letter

Posted in Cover Letters

Dear Ms. Lisa Hood,

I am applying for the day care assistant position that was recently listed by your company Tennova Healthcare.

I currently hold an associate’s degree in early childhood development and have worked as a day care assistant for many years now and enjoy the work. I am fully certified by the National Child Care Association with a Child Care Professional certification. Teaching children that are young is a great way to get them prepared for their school years and I understand that I have to make the learning fun so they do not get bored or while learning.

I understand that background checks along with drug testing and even a polygraph test may be required prior to employment and do not have a problem with this. I am drug free, do not have a criminal background and have never even had a traffic violation. I can be insured by your insurance agency if driving the children is a part of my job description.

I am highly creative and have some great methods for teaching while the children believe that they are simply playing games. It is always my goal to make the learning environment fun for the kids so that they will retain what they are learning. I spend a great deal of time coming up with new methods so the learning process is always fresh and unique for the children.

If you would like to know more about my methods I would love to sit down and talk with you. Feel free to call me at any time at (555)-555-5555 to set up an interview.
