I have the ability to process new diets, record changes in existing diets as they become known, report discharges and to keep the master menu updated to ensure the kitchen staff has the most recent information concerning the food requirements of the patients. I have the knowledge to calculate diabetic diets, prepare special meals and to address any problems that arise with the kitchen staff concerning the preparation and delivery of the meals.
I possess very strong communication, time management and organizational skills needed to help keep the kitchen staff running smoothly and to make sure all patients receive the right meals. I have a friendly but professional persona and I work well as part of a team.
