I have extensive knowledge of the nutritional standards and requirements associated with special diets and the ability to ensure all meals adhere to the strict guidelines set forth by the dietitians.
I have excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise daily operations. My experience includes supervising the staff, creating schedules and assisting the staff where and when needed to keep operations running smoothly. I also made sure all employees followed company policies and procedures along with state and federal requirements.
I helped to prepare menus that met the dietary needs of the residents and to find new recipes that met the nutritional requirements. I also identified and resolved all issues that arose throughout the day or directed the problem to the manger if needed.
I have excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage several projects throughout the day while taking care of top priority items first. I have a certified food handler’s certificate and I know and adhere to all safety regulations to ensure all foods are prepared correctly.
