I am applying for the position of DMV Investigator with VA State Bar.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a desire to use my skills and experience to secure a permanent position with your organization. I have the training that your department is searching for in an applicant and I have the ability to complete any training needed to qualify for this position.

I have extensive knowledge of the techniques used during investigations and when enforcing the laws and regulations associated with the DMV. I also have the knowledge and skills to interpret these laws correctly and to use my powers to arrest someone responsibly by making sure the arrest is justified.

I am familiar with and adhere to all procedures associated with collecting and preserving evidence and I have the ability to present this evidence in a court of law when necessary. I am also familiar with giving testimony in a courtroom and I have the ability to explain the role I played in the arrest and why it occurred in a clear and concise manner.

I have experience issuing violation citations, conducting investigations and gathering information to use in cases. I have excellent writing skills with the ability to fill out reports and keep detailed accounts of all investigations.
