I would to take this opportunity to apply for the Facility Manager Position now available with Agrium, Inc.
I have two years of experience managing a large office complex where I handled all of the leasing contracts for the businesses within the facility. I served as the point of contact for all business owners and handled all the details of the rental agreements. I also made sure that all building codes were in compliance with state and local laws.
I was responsible for preparing the annual budget for the building and to monitor the expenses to make sure the facility stayed within budget. I invoiced the business owners and made sure all payments were being made in a timely manner. If a problem occurred with payment or anything else, I contacted the owner to discuss the problem and find a solution.
I negotiated all of the contracts with vendors for the facility, which included choosing the cleaning crew, maintenance technicians, the security company and the company for the vending machines. I responded to all emergencies involving the facility that ranged from the alarm going off to water leaks even if they occurred at night or on weekends.
I made physical inspections of the building to ensure everything was working properly such as lighting, heat, air conditioners and plumbing. I also kept the owners updated on all activity that took place in their facility and provided them with detailed reports on a regular basis.
