I am very interested in the Front Office Receptionist position with Huguley Memorial Medical Center.

While finishing high school I started working part time in a local doctor’s office to gain some experience in this field. I am now seeking a full-time position where I can use my experience and skills to their fullest potential while pursuing a higher education in business management.

I have a pleasant and friendly attitude with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and relaxed but I am also a professional who follows the policies and procedures set forth by the company. I know how to be efficient and friendly at the same time. I can help patients relax and feel at ease while waiting to see the physician.

I have the ability to perform the office duties associated with the receptionist position and the personality and professionalism to represent your business in a way that creates positive feedback. My experience includes scheduling appointments, collecting patient information, updating files and sending out invoices. I also have some light bookkeeping experience.

I understand medical terms and I have experience dealing with insurance companies to make sure certain procedures are covered before making appointments. I can also help patients fill out insurance request forms and file the paperwork for insurance coverage. I am hard working, dedicated and I strive for excellence.
