I am applying for the position of Guest Service Agent Fontainebleau Resorts and I hope that you will consider me for this position.
My goal is to secure a position with a well-known establishment such as yours while I pursue my degree in hospitality. While in high school, I worked part-time at a small hotel where I greeted and checked in the guests. If they had any special requests such as a courtesy calls, I logged this immediately before they left the office. I always thanked guests for choosing our hotel and expressed our desire to make their stay a pleasant one.
If the guests needed help with their luggage or assistance finding their room, I assigned someone to assist them with their needs. I answered phones, made reservations and provided callers and guests with information concerning their stay at the hotel such as room rates, check in/checkout times and availability.
I always responded to the guests in a friendly and upbeat manner and worked hard to resolve any issues they had right away. I believe that customer service is vital in the success of a hotel because people want stay where they don’t feel welcome.
I get along well and can work with anyone. I am responsible and I have the ability to follow the procedures and rules set forth by your hotel. I am energetic and know how to motivate others to provide excellent service.
