Dear Ms. Madison,

This letter is being sent in order to apply for the Interpreter position that I found listed on your site. I was very happy as I have been looking for a situation such as this for some time. I have a firm grasp on over four languages and I would be available at any time, day or night, to provide translation services.

I know that I can bring a great personality to this position as well as ten years of experience. I have great communication skills that are required to be effective when translating. I am always dressed professionally and know that I am representing your firm every time I am on assignment and act in a way that is beneficial to the company.

There may be times when I am needed during off business hours and I am fully prepared for this. I can be available with just a half an hour’s notice to travel where your company would need to send me. For this reason and many others, I know I would be an asset to the company.
