I have over five years of experience working in the retail business where I have earned a reputation of being dependable and trustworthy. Being trusted with the keys to an establishment is a huge responsibility that you must take seriously and I understand just how important this position is.
I also have the experience to handle the added responsibility this job includes. For example, I have great management and leadership skills with the ability to step in and handle the store in the event the manager is not available due to an unexpected emergency, when the manager takes vacation or for any other reason.
I am flexible enough to open or close the store when needed. I have experience setting and deactivating security alarms. I know to check for customers to make sure the store is clear and to make sure everything is locked and secure before setting the alarm. When opening, I know to inspect the store to ensure everything is in order before preparing the store to open.
I am also flexible enough to be on call in case of an emergency such as when something triggers the alarm such as an attempted break-in or for any other reason. I also live just a few blocks away from the store, so I can respond very quickly when there is an emergency.
