Mr. David Bryson
Parsons Child and Family Center
2306 Woodbridge Lane
Southfield, MI 48235

Dear Mr. Bryson,

When I saw the learning mentor position being offered by your school I was very excited. This would be a great opportunity for me to train in a field I love while finishing my teaching degree. I find working with children in small groups and providing them with the help they need to excel to be very rewarding.

I’m confident that I can make many positive contributions to Parsons Child and Family Center if given the opportunity, I have:

•Excellent written, verbal and reading skills
•The ability to perform administrative tasks
•Experience creating a suitable environment when working with children
•Some experience in counseling children
•The ability to organize and prioritize information
•The ability to be creative when solving problems and finding ways to reach children

I value education and understand the need for every child to reach their full potential. With the education and experience I have combined with my people skills and flexible hours, you can see why I believe I’m well suited to fill this position.

I would welcome the opportunity to become a member of the staff at Parsons Child and Family Center. Please call me for an interview at (111)-224-6673, or email me at [email]
