I am seeking a career in neuroscience and have attached my resume to this document for the benefit of the hiring manager at your organization Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc.

I have a doctorate’s of science degree in neuroscience and have worked in the industry for more than five years while staying current with all the latest advances in the industry’s technologies. In my past position, it was my responsibility to study the structure and function of the brain and nervous system and specialized in the brain’s anatomy. I have conducted theoretical research using computer simulations and have also conducted laboratory experiments on tissue samples. When necessary, I have overseen both clinical tests and trial and have also written scientific papers that were published in the industry’s journals.

My computer skills are excellent which allow me to research previous studies in order to interpret results from my current studies. I am also well versed with many different types of microscopes, cell counters and other complex devices that are utilized when working in a laboratory setting. This also allows me to apply my knowledge of both psychology and biology in order to analyze the structure, function and development of all nerves and neurotransmitters.

I also bring excellent communication skills which are vital when collaborating with others on complicated studies. Many times this type of collaboration is vital to reaching the conclusions that are necessary in controlled study.
