Dear Ms. Elva Hunter,

After graduating from high school, I went to work as a lifeguard for a local community center. After opening the center, it was my job to check the pool area and changing rooms to make sure everything was stocked and ready for the guests to arrive. When closing, I cleaned the pool to prepare for the next day.

I have worked at the center for two years and am currently CPR certified. I also have first aid and water rescue training. I am familiar with mixing the chemicals in the pool and checking the levels to make sure they are within acceptable range. I also changed the pool filters and cleaned/sanitized the surrounding area to ensure the facility met safety standards.

During this time, I worked directly with the public and I learned how to interact with the guests in a friendly but professional manner to help create an environment where everyone can relax and have a good time. I can check for membership and monitor the guests to make sure everyone is obeying the safety rules.

I pay close attention to detail and I have the ability to notice small gestures that indicate the guests may be in need of something, even if they don’t ask. I can offer floats, towels and other accessories to the guests and answer any questions they may have. I am the best person for this job and I hope to meet with you soon to discuss the details.

Please call (111)-932-1226 to arrange an interview.
