Here is the Proactive Ramp Agent Cover Letter Example:

Dear Ms. Jennings,

I am writing to express my interest in the Ramp Agent position. I have included my resume for your consideration and I am sure you will agree my qualifications are an excellent match for your needs.

I have worked as a Ramp Agent at Indianapolis International Airport for the past five years, where I was responsible for marshaling inbound aircraft into the ramp area of assigned gate and performing push-out service. My duties also included services of aircraft water tanks to ensure adequate supply of potable water, and the stocking of aircraft with lavatory supplies. In addition to baggage handling tasks I was responsible for the grooming of the aircraft passenger cabin between flights.

My driver’s abstract is clean, and I possess not only a current airside vehicle operator’s permit, but also the necessary credentials to obtain airport security clearance. I am not afraid of hard work, and am used to working outdoors in all types of weather. Shift work is no problem for me. I am flexible as to both hours and work-related travel.

My chief concerns are safety and efficiency. I can safely and quickly manipulate objects weighing up to 70 pounds in confined spaces. My familiarity with airline and airport codes will be an asset to your team. Additionally, I have experience performing FOD walks and GSE fluid inspections. I can perform administrative tasks that require the use of computers.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for reviewing my resume. Should you have any questions I can be contacted at (555)-555-5555.

Respectfully,
