I am very excited about the Sound Technician job opening up with Sound Advice Consulting Services and I would like to express my interest in this position.

I have acquired a degree in broadcasting and I am licensed by the Society of Broadcast Engineers. I have extensive knowledge of this type of equipment with the ability to produce the optimal sound using signal-processing equipment, sound misers, microphones, tape recorders and similar tools.

I stay updated on all the latest technology and I have the ability to determine what would enhance the sound the most and then incorporate this into your sound system. I also possess the knowledge to make recommendations for new equipment when it is time to upgrade or replace existing items.

I have the physical strength and agility to assemble, dissemble and transport the equipment to and from different locations. I have the knowledge to make repairs to the equipment when necessary to keep it functioning correctly, which includes replacing computer chips or re-wiring the cables. I also have the skills to do inventory and to requisition the parts needed to make repairs.

I have the ability to adapt to different types of environments and to make the adjustments needed to produce the best sounds based on the location of the performance. I possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and I am flexible enough to travel to various locations and to work nights and weekends.
