Largo Medical Center

Dear Ms. Eustice,

I am applying for the Speech Language Pathologist position with Largo Medical Center and I meet the requirements listed in your posting.

I have a bachelor degree and I am licensed to teach in this field. I also hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology required by the ASHA and I have the ability to adhere to the ASHA Code of Ethics.

I currently hold this position at an elementary school but I am ready to advance my career and move up to working with older children that need special attention in this area. I find this career to be a very rewarding one and I have a real desire to help students with these disabilities.

My experience has taught me that students with speech impairment have a difficult time keeping up with other students but this type of disability also affects them in a very emotional way. I have the skills to help these students deal with the emotional aspect by helping them meet their educational goals.

I have the training to make sure that students always receive quality service and I have the ability to meet all state and federal laws that pertain to this profession. The enclosed resume has complete details of my education, training and skills relevant to this position. After viewing my credentials, I am confident that you will agree I am the best choice for this job.

You can reach me by calling (123)-626-8017 and I hope to meet with you in person to discuss this position in more detail.
