I currently hold this position at an elementary school but I am ready to advance my career and move up to working with older children that need special attention in this area. I find this career to be a very rewarding one and I have a real desire to help students with these disabilities.

My experience has taught me that students with speech impairment have a difficult time keeping up with other students but this type of disability also affects them in a very emotional way. I have the skills to help these students deal with the emotional aspect by helping them meet their educational goals.

I have the training to make sure that students always receive quality service and I have the ability to meet all state and federal laws that pertain to this profession.
