Dear Ms. Jessica Rhodes,
I am applying for the travel administrator position that was recently listed by your company Volt Workforce Solutions.
My education and experience includes a bachelor’s degree in business management with a strong base of mathematics which is necessary for budgeting concerns, along with six years working as a travel administrator. In my last position I was responsible for researching, arranging and coordinating travel, transportation and accommodation for all employees and clients according to the company’s business and budgetary needs. I was required to travel at times and this was never a problem for me and it was not a problem when I was on call during normal close of business hours. It is understood that in some cases there are issues with travel plans and these need to be attended to immediately whether or not I am on the clock.
My research skills are high and I am proficient on the computer and am able to research and book flights, ground transportation and hotel accommodations via the internet and can provide travelers with directions and destination information via email. I have knowledge of all relevant flight regulations and know which required travel documentation is a must, particularly for international travel. I have great organizational skills and can multitask and solve problems quickly without feeling overwhelmed. It is possible for me to work on my own or as a part of a team effort when required.
If you would like to speak to me further, please feel free to contact me at any time by calling (555)-555-5555.
