Dear Ms. Lisa Winegar,
I am applying for a travel assistant position with your company Landry’s Restaurants and have attached my resume for your convenience.
I have an associate’s degree in business administration and have worked as a travel assistant for four years with an added six years as an administrative assistant. In my prior employment, it was my task to assist and support travel agents in their daily tasks including book flights online and planning for both ground transportation and hotel accommodations. It was also up to me to provide any travel guides needed and to offer guests information on tourist spots and historical sites. Because of my great interpersonal and verbal communication skills, there were times when I was required to take on the task of tour guide.
I am able to research in order to offer travelers the means for accessing guided tours and can alert them to tourist spots and any exotic and scenic sites of any location in the world. It is also possible for me to provide traveling assistance and guides on contractual basis to all groups and/or corporate employees. When needed there would be no problem providing guided tours to any student travelers on their educational tours. With my high computer skills, I am able to prepare and provide travel itineraries to all visitors and travelers while ensuring that all visitors and travelers are made comfortable at hotels, motels and resorts.
Please feel free to contact me at any time by calling (555)-555-5555 to set up a time for an interview.
